Way to go (again) on the whole 'consulting the users' thing, LJ

Just for the record:

I HATE THE CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE COMMENTS.

I hate the now-gigantic number of roll-overs. I hate how asking the system to expand a thread deforms the page while it thinks about it. (And where did the 'collapse' button go on threads? Oh wait, there it is, it's somewhere in the freaking roll-over.)

I hate how my LJ notes - which I paid good money to have, by the by - no longer show in full on comments made by the note-ed person (guess what, they're a roll-over now!). I also hate that freaking gigantic ugly blue block on the top and bottom of every comment page telling you how many pages of comments there are and giving you YET ANOTHER roll-over.

Pages are taking longer to load since the comment system changes, too. I can't help but be curious about what this is doing to the LJ servers.

And I hate roll-overs in general and in specific. I hate having to pay extra-special attention to where I rest my mouse pointer while I read because there's only a very few specific spots to set it that don't activate some sort of 'hi, let me blink distractingly at you' roll-over!

Oh, and making comments isn't so much of a walk in the park anymore either. Switching the 'delete' and 'edit' buttons: annoying. Lack of subject lines (particularly in communities): infuriating. Waiting for every icon you have to load so that you can pick one: AGGGGG DIAF. Also, again: giant blue box o' DOOM. Man, but that's ugly.

(It just figures that it would take hatred to drag me out of a seven month long posting slump, wouldn't it?)
