Okay, so I vanished from LJ pretty much entirely for a month or so. There were reasons, none of them good ones. In any case, the main one - a complete lack of energy - seems to have been at least temporarily dealt with.
Winter and Spring are rather hard on me, energy-wise. I generally lay the cause of that on the lack of sunlight, and this past month (actually, the whole of those two seasons this year) has been frankly dismal. However, I was recently ordered by my doctor to make some rather sweeping dietary changes - one of these being increasing the amount of fruit I'm eating by, well, a rather massive amount. (Orders I am following, because it's far better than having to take medication every day for possibly the rest of my life. Besides, fruit is yummy, even if I do miss my KD.)
Somehow, this change has taken me to spending dismal sunless weeks merely somewhat tired and grey rather than attempting to hibernate and unable to complete too many thoughts in a row.
I suspect it's all the fruit. So yay for fruit!
That said, I'm sorry for disappearing like that, especially to the people with whom this is my main/only form of contact. I've spent the last couple of days catching up, and I hope to stay on top of it.
And so, I close with a question. Does anyone know how to tell when a Papaya is ripe? Do you knock it, do you squeeze it, or is it something else entirely?
