NaNoWriMo has officially come to an end. :(  I really wanted to hit 60,000 words before the word counter froze, so I made a big push (well, kinda big) and got to 60K just before midnight.  Unfortunately this resulted in sentences like "She headed back to the grocery store yet again to frantically grab another 400 words".   Ah

Woot! That's just so amazing that you not only managed to hit the 50,000 word goal but you smashed it to smithereens by 10,000 more words! *standing ovation*

Like I mentioned before, my goal to write Chapter 1 was a roaring success...not. ;) However, I did figure that the 4 pages O_O ;) I wrote came to about 1,700 words, which is 1,700 words more than I've written in years so I'm not going to call it a complete failure! And I'm going to keep going at it, though I have no idea when or if I'll ever finish it. o_O It just feels a little better to be writing again, rather than in permanent writer's limbo. :S

If life is permitting next year, though, I definitely will try the "real" NaNo! Though I'll have to make sure to not schedule anything like a vid at that time. I've figured out that I really can only commit to one creative endeavor at a time, so if I'm going to seriously try to write 50,000 in a month, I can't afford to be wasting any creative energy on anything else! O_O :D

Once again, huge congrats on obliterating the NaNo goal! *more applause and throws flowers* ;) ♥♥♥!!!
