It's over...
... but not for me.
NaNoWriMo has officially come to an end. :( I really wanted to hit 60,000 words before the word counter froze, so I made a big push (well, kinda big) and got to 60K just before midnight. Unfortunately this resulted in sentences like "She headed back to the grocery store yet again to frantically grab another 400 words". Ah well. It's fixable.
So without the word counter on the website I'm going to do what I did last year and post my word count at the top of my journal so I see it all the time. I'm loving this story and I'm determined to finish it, no matter how long it turns out to be.
