Frequently Asked (A journal entry from cmas break)
WHAT ARE YOU DOING AFTER SCHOOL?
this question above all questions prevailed at the 2004 Cmas on both sides of the family as well as amongst friends.
I would personally like to give an award to this question for being most spontaneous yet most predictable question of the year.
The weird thing is that I don't even know if people care to hear my answer and i mean really HEAR "my" answer. What if they don't like what they hear? Everyone seems to have an opinion as to what they think I should do after I'm done with school. That's okay. What can man do to me?
The interesting sitution is that I actually have no answer to that question. Relatives ask and I am brain dead. So, I find myself making up an answer and then I think "stupid head! Why did you say that? Now they're going to expect you to do it!" As of now, I've got friends and family believing all different things. Some of the most popular answers are, "I think I'll move to New Zealand." "Britain is a place I'm interested in making movies in." "I might stay in Vancouver." "I'm gonna talk with Jim Rygal, see if I can work on his show."
But the most popular falsity is "I'm gonna move to LA!" That one takes the cake. I mean where on earth . . . I plainly just don't know and I need to get used to telling people that.
