(no subject)
I've felt bad becuase this blog turned into what i didn't want- a whine-all for mine and scott's buisness. This stops today. I'm more than just a lonely army wife. Much more.
I bought regina spektor's new album, far. It is fantastic. She really has a lot of solid melodies; each song has its own identity. It has re-establish this wish of mine to learn piano. Once I'm settled in Korea, this is a must. Regina has a beautiful voice and some seemingly simplistic lyrics that run deeper than at first notice.
I made some friends at the Borders bookstore. It was so good to connect with people that had similar interests. We talked for hours and even went to dinner. I was very glad.
I'm waiting for Tuesday; I get to start my new job. I'll be a sales rep at Rue 21. As long as I have decen hours, I don't mind the minimum wage, despite having a 2 year college degree. Oh well. I get a great discount on already pretty cheap clothes. :)
Oh, and since Scott has left, I've been eating better and working out. I've lost nearly 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Go me.
