Today is a monumental day. Today my boy became a man! Today he had his first taste of a McDonalds hamburger and he loved it!

I'm so proud.

So today our baby sitter called and said that her son was driving the porcelain bus. Since we are sensible parents we didn't want Joshua to be exposed to any funk that the other child was carrying. We celebrated Joshua's first birthday today. The Beloved wanted to make tomorrow all about me (being Father's day and all) and I didn't argue with her!

One year ago today I left my cell phone at home.

The change never stops once a child enters your home. First there was baby stuff everywhere. Then came the toys. The toys were big plastic learning things, but even now they are changing. I have a Cozy Coupe in my garage, and a wagon in my living room. I sense a lot of fresh air in my lungs this summer.
