At the request of my mother, here is an update.
We had our Christmas party today at work. We had enough food for three or four departments, and I ate enough for three or four people! Now, however, I have to try and find a way to stay awake for the next five hours.
Part of our party is a traditional "Chinese gift exchange" (if anyone knows what this has to do with China let me know). I had the most awesome gift (a $10 gift card to Target) but it was stolen from me. I wound up with a large container of peanut butter cups, which is just as well because I like peanut butter cups.
I am ready for Christmas. The Beloved and I decided to get each other one CD each and spend the rest of our money on the man-child, who will be having one large Christmas! Since he will be 1.5 years old this year I am expecting lots of joy. Last year he was just too little to get what was going on. This year is different simply because of how mobile he is now!
