The other day I posted very vague essay on how this once great Supreme Court that had Justices that whether I agree with the justices or not , I always respected them, became this awful court. . The Roberts Court has not earned this respect. That post has removed in favor of what i think at least a 4 part essay on the ultimate affect that the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. State Health Officer may ultimately have.
My intention is to review every justice that has ever had any Justice since Louis Brandeis who have had some responsibility and input on developing or in some cases (Justice Hugo Black for example ) denying thatthe right of privacy which is not specifically anywhere in the Constitution such exists.
The right was first in a Harvard Law Review Article that was written by Future Justice Brandeis and Attorney Samuel D. Warren i n1890. Then Brandeis again in widely cited dissenting opinion in Olmstead v. United States ( 1928 )
Also I will present a case I believe was a test case to see how attached the Roberts court to the doctrine of Stare Decises .
I will review with you at least 7 landmark cases whose holdings are now jeopardy being overturned by this myopic decision .
THOSE CASE ARE :
Griswold v. Connecticut 1965
Loving v Virginia 1967
Stanley v. Georgia 1969
Eisenstadt v . Baird 1972
Cruzen v Missouri Department of Health 1990
Lawrence v. Texas 2003
Obergfell v.Hodges 2015
