*growls*

I like this job. Really, I do! But when the grad student, who is my supervisor, cannot be bothered to pay attention to the professor who runs the lab and wants something done a certain way- and then relays the information incorrectly to me, who ends up doing it the way that the grad student said it needed to be done, and NOT the way the professor wants it... I feel like it makes ME look bad.

I don't want to pass the blame, but at the same time, I make it a point to pay attention to the instructions I'm given here. When I am here, yes, I have a hundred other things I am thinking about as well, but when I am being told how to do something for the first time, I shut off everything else. Why, then, can't my supervisor be bothered to do the same? To me, and to the professor, it is irritating, and it wastes time.

This is the third time this has happened- that I have talked to the professor about a snag I've run up against, or that the professor has come over to check on my progress, and that we've found there's been a miscommunication. *sighs* I can only hope for things to run smoothly for the rest of the day. I don't want to have to go back to the Palace in a bad mood, considering the amount of cleaning I have to do. Ugh.

I miss Chris already.
