thefourthvine and I got into a conversation about chocolate and she asked for my favorites. I felt it would be easier to post a list here than try to do it on Twitter:D
Here are my faves. I have listed them by producer and then bar.
Patric's Madagascar 75%Mill Creek SaltedChocolatl de David's Brown ButterAmano Dos Rios DH also likes Dick Taylor Dominican (or salted/fleur de sel), but I'm not a huge fan.
The Meadow is awesome. If you are in/near Portland, you should go. They also have a store in NYC, but it's more expensive.

We are still mourning the loss of Steve deVries from the market. His chocolate was amazing, but he apparently stopped producing to take care of his ailing mother:( :(
Any questions? I should mention that the chocolate I actually eat the most of are
these little chocolate chunks. I won't tell you how much we have in our basement. We believe these used to be the 365 brand dark chocolate mini-chunks, but alas, they discontinued them and so now we have to buy them in bulk.
(Also, for people who think my to do/ta da lists are impressive, let me tell you I spent most of the day in bed or eating. I hope to finish watching a third show before I go to bed. I accomplished very little. My hormones had a different agenda, but I listened to them and have not crashed, so it was worth it.)
