After a hairy morning, starting with a dream no thanks to SGU wherein I was spacelocking people (ugh ugh ugh, where is the brainbleach for that?) and then protracted fights with girls to get to them school, I made it to the grocery store for lasagna ingredients and a few other sundries. Wow, doing a businessy thing with quilts, sounds BIG, best of luck

I"m not sure about Sleepy Hollow either, the characters are interesting and its looks good, but I don't know if I can switch my brain off while watching,
It will have to improve

The only thing I've watched lately that I've absolutely loved is Orphan Black, the actress is simply amazing (all the actors are actually)
Looks like its back to books, as there is nothing worth watching on tv

Last day of school holidays too !

I suppose it is dark, but I don't mind that.

Our tv shows are all reality crap, so it's good to see something a different

I think most tv shows are crap. I saw today that Sleepy Hollow has already been renewed for another season. I don't get it. It has so many issues that drive me nuts and I'm not even a history buff!

It has? I suppose its getting good ratings, but I agree, there are a few things that drive me nuts (I know next to nothing about American history, or Native American history and I was a bit dubious about that last episode)
It might not last beyond the second series if they keep going in the same vein

Yeah. I think I saw that on Tumblr. It's not the history that is driving me nuts, but the anachronisms. LIke, how is he able to use a tab top pop can so easily but the faucets are a mystery to him?

because we can't turn our brains off or handwave those things - besides, its really obvious!
I don't get why he's not going nuts at women's clothes - has he seen a mini skirt yet?
Although it is endearing the way he calls her Miss Abbie

OMG, so TRUE!!

We handwaved all kinds of crap in Merlin.

But Tom Mison is all kinds of adorable, as is Nichole Beharie.

We sure did! we may have reached our handwaving limit (its a lifetime thing!)

They both are adorable, and that will probably carry the show more than anything else.
