It's really Thurs. It's really Thurs. Not Monday.

After a hairy morning, starting with a dream no thanks to SGU wherein I was spacelocking people (ugh ugh ugh, where is the brainbleach for that?) and then protracted fights with girls to get to them school, I made it to the grocery store for lasagna ingredients and a few other sundries. Lasagna is in the oven. I will have lunch for the next two ( Read more... )

life, nightmares, update, ugh

We watched the first two episodes and have the 3rd on TiVo, but may have given up. There's a lot of stuff in our queue and it's just too formulaic, despite the pretty.

You are referring to Sleepy Hollow, right? It is ridiculously formulaic.

Yup, Sleepy Hollow, sorry to be vague :)

Now to make panzanella!

No worries! I'm glad other people agree with me.

What do you recommend for watching?

What is panzanella?

Well, we're working our way through Broadchurch and sticking with Castle. We're giving S.H.I.E.L.D. a try--the pilot was disappointing, but with expectations lowered the second episode was a little better. I've been catching up on Copper--the violence is pretty extreme, but it's interesting and character-driven and has Kyle Schmid. Haven't started Elementary for the season, but I'm looking forward to that.

Panzanella is an Italian bread salad. My recipe for it is here, but it's very flexible.

Oh, I know someone else who loves Broadchurch. I wonder if I could get it.

We'll see how long I last with Castle. *sigh*

I haven't been in to any of the other Marvel related things. I feel like I'm too out of the loop for S.H.I.E.L.D. It seems a lot of people like Elementary. I'm still looking for another good scifi show to watch. :(

Ah. We used to make bread salad, back in the days before dh quit eating wheat:P

The Marvel movies have been very good lately and we're old-time Whedon fans, so I'm hopeful it can pull together. I'm also excited that they are developing another spin-off series based on Agent Carter, the lead woman in Captain America.

With Castle, I think the thing that may keep me there this season is seeing how they manage to twist themselves into knots to get all their regulars into every episode, despite Kate being DC-based now.

Well, I wonder how long Kate will stay in DC....
