John Green is awesome. I can testify to that. :)

LOL. But I would have years of his vlogging to catch up on!

I read one of his books and HATED it, but when I saw Ben Cook interviewing him, I was like, John Green is awesome, what is wrong with me?

Which book? He's a wild card writer as in he has very different feels for each of his books. Much like Neil Gaiman or Haven Kimmel.

And just watch the vlogs that interest you most. Have you watched the Lizzie Bennet diaries? Fun times. Quick, fast but entertaining when you need a pick-me-up.

I read Looking for Alaska, I believe. I think it's awesome that he writes such a variety, but it makes it a little hard to gauge how I'm going to feel about his other work. I also cannot read Gaiman, although I did read Coraline (which I thought was good) and that graphic novel he's famous for but which title is escaping me at the moment. Sandman?

People keep reccing Lizzie Bennet to me. Is he behind those? I should watch them.

Oh I think Looking for Alaska is brilliant but my daughter didn't like it. She loved Coraline and Stardust and the Graveyard Book but has never read American Gods or Sandman by Neil Gaiman. I tend to like everything by Neil and John though.

Hank Green (John Green's brother and writing partner-in-crime for the DFTBA Vlog) produced the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. You should watch them. They sort of drag towards the middle (there's 100 episodes) but overall well worth my time and I watched them over the span of three nights.

I think your reply was posted as anon. This seems to happen from time to time.

I am wondering if your daughter and I have similar tastes, although I have not read Stardust or The Graveyard Book.

I will put LBD on my to watch list. After I get done with Eureka which I am thoroughly enjoying:D
