HOME!
OMG, I think we are basically done with all the big stressful commitmenty type things for a while now. I mean, there are a couple more things happening, but the girls just participated in their first feis (Irish dance competition) and now we're done! DD1 placed first in her reel and third in the light jig and slip jig. DD2 didn't place. She was a little sad at first, but she seems to be over it now. So, it was a good first experience and we'll see what happens after this.
In other news, my sewing machine is not sewing fleece together. It is working on other fabrics, just not fleece. I'm dumbfounded. I guess I need to figure that out at some point.
Yep. That's about all I've got for you at the moment. I think my brain has turned to mush.
Oh, a while back, lewisian_gneiss asked me what I did. After thinking on it, I think I like the answer "I knit the universe together" even if it's probably ridiculously grandiose.
Also, none of us want to talk to DD2 right now, so we have sicc'ed her on her grandfather. LOL! I love how cheap long distance is.
