I am in a food coma
Ok, we had a seder here. It's a Jewish ritual involving food. And I have no restraint. I ate so much. We started with green beans and then matzoh and charoset (apples/cinnamon/dates/nuts). Moved on to hard boiled egg (thus the need for so many eggs of late -- 2 seders:)) and matzoh ball soup. Then there was pressure cooker carrot puree (which caramelizes the carrots -- they are divine) and salad with beets, mixed greens, walnuts, orange slices, and goat cheese. Then there was salmon (plain, fried in a pan). And then there was dessert -- six kinds of ice cream (parsnip, two oranges, vanilla, creme fraiche, and balsamic vinegar) and cake. And cookies. I didn't eat the cookies. So, um yeah. YUM, but now I'm really full.
In other news, does anyone know if one of my fics got recced somewhere? I'm not getting kudos, but I'm getting a bunch more hits than usual.
*yawn*
My kids are going away with grandparents from tomorrow-Sunday. I plan to write like a demon and do some sewing too.

Oh, funny note about the seder. When we opened the door for Elijah, a cat came and was really insistent. We fed it some salmon, but the cat really wanted to come in. My daughter had to work hard to keep the cat out. LOL
