I picked up DD2 from school and discovered that she felt quite hot. Took her home, set her up on the couch. The poor thing has a fever. I'm wondering if it's a virus or strep. I'm hoping for virus in some ways. Anyhow, she seems chipper when she's awake, so I'm not super worried at the moment. It's been a while since I had a sick kid at home

How often do I get abx here? Well, I don't go tell my doctor that I need them. I beg them not to give them to me/us, but occasionally I take them. I think the kids have each taken them twice in their lives. I'm rather anti-meds unless absolutely necessary, but I know I don't represent mainstream thought.
LOL. NO! Will not buy ice cream. Or even make it. She's happy with the matzoh ball soup:D

Yep. I think antibiotics have been completely overused. I think doctors don't take it seriously enough.
I know. I'm a sucky mom. I won't buy ice cream and I can't make it right now because my freezer containers are not frozen.
Matzoh ball soup is chicken broth with dumplings made out of matzoh meal. The Jewish mom's answer to illness:D
