Well, that put a wrench in my plans
I picked up DD2 from school and discovered that she felt quite hot. Took her home, set her up on the couch. The poor thing has a fever. I'm wondering if it's a virus or strep. I'm hoping for virus in some ways. Anyhow, she seems chipper when she's awake, so I'm not super worried at the moment. It's been a while since I had a sick kid at home. I'm out of practice:)
The good news is that this gets me out of some obligations I was not feeling up to. Hopefully she'll be all fine tomorrow and you'll hear me whining about having a healthy kid at home as we wait out the 24 hour period before she can go back to school.
So, I'm a bit distracted with sick child. Also, hormones are making me sleepy.
I did have a nice visit with
chicago_ruth today, although I'm afraid I wasn't much help and had a great time with my mom.
I wrote a drabble about Elyan and Gwen for camelot_drabble. It's about their relationship as sibs.
ETA: Just wondering if my entire flist is on their cycle as well. It doesn't seem possible that we could be cycling together given that we don't live anywhere near each other.
