I've got the little bugger quilted.  This was my first time using a twin needle and it was a smashing success, if I do say so myself.  What was not a smashing success was the thread I used.  *facepalm*  I'm really happy with how it turned out, but there was much gnashing of teeth and ripping of stitches.  Invisible thread is, well, invisible and

Eeee, thanks. I'm really pleased with how it's coming together. I've learned a lot on this project too (like how I shouldn't be too scared to try new techniques, except ones involving invisible thread, apparently:D).

Hm, interesting question. I guess it's more like podtogether than remix. I had the idea for a design, she drew it, and then I interpreted her design into fabric and then built on it. Maybe it's a combination of those things? It's way more collaborative than the remix, but there is an element of remixing. Very interesting.
