Dragon quilt progress

I've got the little bugger quilted.  This was my first time using a twin needle and it was a smashing success, if I do say so myself.  What was not a smashing success was the thread I used.  *facepalm*  I'm really happy with how it turned out, but there was much gnashing of teeth and ripping of stitches.  Invisible thread is, well, invisible and ( Read more... )

Eeee, thanks. I'm really pleased with how it's coming together. I've learned a lot on this project too (like how I shouldn't be too scared to try new techniques, except ones involving invisible thread, apparently:D).

Hm, interesting question. I guess it's more like podtogether than remix. I had the idea for a design, she drew it, and then I interpreted her design into fabric and then built on it. Maybe it's a combination of those things? It's way more collaborative than the remix, but there is an element of remixing. Very interesting.
