Oh, a couple months ago, I promised I would do a post about the fics I've written that are my favorites.

Destination Reflections was one of the first pieces I wrote. It's Merlin's reflections on his life with Arthur as he travels to Arthur's funeral after Camlann. It was the first story I wrote where there was a real shift in my writing and I feel ( Read more... )

Destination Reflections, Defying Gravity, Deathwatch, Scars, Die Happy. These are just so touching and beautiful. Even though most of them are really sad.

Ok, this completely cracks me up because most of what I write is pure and utter fluff and you pick the saddest ones. I don't know whether to laugh or cry over that.

Oh, by the way, I have sketched out an epilogue now. I'm hesitant to include in the piece because I think people won't read it. I don't know. I guess we can talk about it.

Thank you. I liked Deathwatch quite a bit too. I really pushed myself to be very spare with the language, which I know did not appeal to some people.

Actually, I almost included the Intimacy series and the Merlin Advent stories as well, but decided not to.

I knew this would crack you up, but I think you kinda guessed that I like sad and angsty stuff. And while I don't write fluff, I love to read it, but those are just not leaving a lasting impression on me.
So laugh all you want, that's me, the angst sucker.:)

I probably need to make an "angst sucker" icon for myself.:D

We can talk about that epilogue if you want to. I haven't read it yet, but I'm gonna check it out.

LOL. Angst sucker does not conjure what you meant it to, although I know what you mean:D

*facepalm* It's a little embarrassing, how much I've put up there.

\o/ I was going to say something about gift fics, but there is no easy way to search for gifts that you've given, I think.

I was very pleased with Topping Out, but it is also a very narrow specific kind of story, if that makes sense. I am very glad that it still makes you happy:) ♥
