I am not sure what I've been up to the last week. I feel like all I've done is laundry and cooking and cleaning! I haven't written any fic to speak of (about 300 words) and I've hardly done any sewing (although I did iron a bunch of new fabric, yay new fabric:)).

neyah444  asked what happened with the birds. I think I mentioned on Monday that I had ( Read more... )

I should totally make a duck!face icon. But then I'd have to get rid of some of my other icons. I'm just being ridiculous, I know:)

Thanks!

Oh, then I'm glad to provide that for people:D

Um, I really don't think it did. I copied and pasted the text actually:) But it's very easy to misread stuff. I could totally see how that would happen. Don't worry about it:) ♥

Thanks for the update, all the pictures are so adorable. You made my day with them. And their little wings... They look so white next to the ducklings. Aww, cuteness overload!

Yay! I'm still missing them a teeny bit. I'm so glad we have all those pictures though. (I think we have a few hundred pictures that I will need to go through soon.) Hurray for cuteness overload!

And don't worry about writing only 300 words. When I don't write anything for a while I always say that I'm gathering ideas, it's a major part of the creative process. *nods*

Thanks darling! I haven't been doing anything creative this last week. I'm not fussed about it yet.

Sometimes I'm not doing anything either, but the creative process sounds better:) It always reminds me of Arthur Rimbaud's words to Verlaine in Total Eclipse:

"Rimbaud: I suppose you think I've been just lying here all these weeks in a state of paralyzed sloth.
Verlaine: Well, not necessarily
Rimbaud: oh I have... but bubbling beneath the surface and rising slowly to the layers of indifferences comes a new system. Harden up, reject romanticism, abandon rhethoric, get it right. And finally I have seen where my attempt to conquer the world has led me.
Verlaine: Where has it led you?
Rimbaud: Here. My search for universal experience has led me here. To live an idle, pointless life of poverty, is the menial of a bald, ugly, aging, drunken lyric poet who clings to me because his wife won't take him back."

LOL at the end. I can hope that the beginning part is true, about bubbling beneath the surface...comes a new system.

Aww, the duckling's face. "I WILL ESCAPE. I WILL."
Adorable!

Oh, those ducklings were HILARIOUS! They kept trying to escape from the big Rubbermaid tub and that actually had us in stitches because they would jump in the corner as if it would do them any good. :) I miss my baby birds. *sniff*

So glad you and everyone else put up with me posting about them so much and enjoyed the pictures. ♥
