Boy howdy am I tired
I had a busy day that started waaaay too early when I woke up at 5:30 and dh's alarm was already brightening up. At 6am he was in the shower and the fucking birds were chirping on it. I couldn't fall back asleep after that, so I just got up. Grrrr.
I made chocolate cake with almond flour (no wheat) in th mroning and then dashed off to therapy. After therapy I made crepes. Then I went to the grocery store for veggies and picked up the girls. We came home and I made more crepes. In the end I made two different kids: plain cheese and cheddar, spinach, onion and mushroom. We had 5 girls plus my daughter. I think four of them ate the spinach ones and most of them had at least one cheese crepe. These were also gluten free (made with cream cheese and protein powder (don't ask)). I was pleased. I feel like the girls had a good time and they had a good discussion and they mostly ate my dinner. I put out carrots, sugar snap peas, and red pepper for munching on and they ate all the carrots and peas too. Then I cleaned up. And now I'm tired. I've just turned the eggs for the last time today and I'm going to bed soon.
By the way, if anyone is new here and enjoyed Deathwatch, you might also like Destination Reflections (which is one of the first fics I wrote and it's about Merlin reflecting on his life with Arthur on his way to Arthur's funeral.)
That's about it from me. No thinky thoughts. Oh, I have one rec. asya_ana wrote this adorable angsty fic based on a song. It's called We Are Young and after you read it, when you hear the song on the radio, it will make you smile to think of Merlin and Arthur:)
Oooh, question for you. I'm thinking about doing a write up of S1 eps. Like one a week. Anyone interested in rewatching with me? I'd start with ep 1.03 because I've done 1.01 and 1.02 already.
