Oh God, this is too sad. I just realized that I have no problems with fics where Arthur or Merlin dies (especially when it's in the far future) but I do have problem with Gaius dying. Perhaps because I can see it happen on the show. I have a soft spot for him I guess. This is beautifully written though:(

*sobs with you* I know. I hadn't thought of Gaius dying until someone else mentioned something, so I knew I had to prepare myself. There is a good chance he will be killed off this season.

Have you been leaving kudos on random fics on AO3 you darling woman?

Oh, you should check out the remix that someone wrote for this. It's gorgeous. It's from Arthur's POV.

Thanks!

I actually started thinking about it at the end of series one and still scared that it'll happen.
Where is the remix?

Yes, that's me, but I asked for an invite so soon I won't be so anonymous anymore. That's why I commented here, because I can't do that there yet. :D

Yay! I'm glad you've got an invite.

For the record, most of my fics refer back to each other at this point.

Oh, that remix is beautiful. I was with my grandmother in her last minutes, so I know how hard it is (although with her it had been 2 weeks actually).

Yeah, I thought the author did an amazing job with it.

:( I've never actually been with someone who died.

You really do not have to leave kudos on everything I write:) Just your favorites.

When you get through as much as you want to read, I'd love to hear which ones stick with you.

I've not read most of the camelot drabbles for this week yet as I'm still working on mine!

I didn't leave Kudos on everything:) Just those I think was great. I really like your style. A lot of them made me think. I really like Deathwatch and also 'I have something to tell you'. These are my favorites so far. I guess. Also your microfics are amazing, really:D

Ok, that's good to know:) I don't think everything I post is worthy of kudos (so why do I post? I don't know).

Thank you. I was trying to do something very spare with Deathwatch. Apparently it really works for some people and really doesn't for others.

"I have something to tell you" was just me being goofy, but people liked it so much, I thought I'd post it on AO3 too.

I like short pieces. Can you tell?:D Long fic can be fun, but there is a lot to keep track of and it's much harder for me to play with language in them.

Well, I guess it's not about something being worthy of kudos or not. It's either well written or it's not, and yours are. Sometimes I don't really like what I read, but there's a thought in it that I like, or a style, or it just works even if I don't like the characterization. I always find something that I like (probably because I always concentrate on the positive things), because yours are well written. So don't worry, even if you don't like, someone else might ( ... )

Oooh, if you like the one about Arthur pulling the sword out, you should read castmeaway's version. I don't think it's too far back in her lj. It's really good.

Feelings and moods are good. They are the glue of the story.

What are you writing a book about? At this point in my life I can't imagine stringing that many words together, but who knows, in another ten years it might happen.

I think the thing that breaks me down the most is when I read about they eyes being glassy, fogged over, because I know exactly how that looks, and it actually happens moments before the breathing stops. It's a thing of nightmares.

Death is sad. Heartbreaking. But it's also part of life.

On that note, I'm for bed. 'night!
