Update
DD1 stayed home again today. She's not technically sick any more, but she was very low energy this morning and hadn't eaten enough yesterday, so I wanted to keep her home to "fatten her up" for school tomorrow:) She's been eating and I took her to Wendy's for chicken nuggets (since she missed chicken nuggets at school). Now we are painting her nails. Oh, and I got her to take a bath and wash her hair! No more rat's nest on the back of the head. Go me.
I've been working on computer wizard fic. It's getting knotty. Or thorny. Or something. I didn't expect it to be short, but this might turn out to be my longest fic yet. Wheeee. Remix is dripping. Like molasses. I get an idea and it gives me ten words. What's up with that? I need to have words with my brain. I wanted to work on it today, but cock blocking child is home and I can't write sexy fun times when kids are home.
I'm falling asleep. I don't know why it's so exhausting to have a child home who hardly needs any care. Last night I woke up at 9, after both kids were asleep, turned off the light at like 10:15 and then got ficcy ideas and ended up staying up until 11:30. Not that this produced many words, mind you.
Question for those of you who write. Any idea how long it takes you to write say 1K worth of words? Finished. 5 hours?
