Varied thinky sorts of things
Brian Cox has a blog and he had an interesting quote on it which led me to this wikipedia page about J B S Haldane who has loads of interesting quotes. (This is mostly for lewisian_gneiss as I know she's quite the Brian Cox fan, but others of you might find it interesting as well:)).
I'm being selfish today and staying home in my cave to work on fic and the dragon quilt. I do not want to go to a cold room with 30 other women to help sew quilts for people who need them. See, I'm being bad. I'm not attending Valentine's parties at school either.
Looking forward to playing around with alternative endings to 4.09 and 4.13 on Friday. I will definitely make two posts so we can discuss the eps separately. I'm wondering what other sort of structural things I should do to make the conversations easier. I know that people start discussion topics with different subjects. I don't think I'm clever enough to come up with different topics, but I think I should suggest that people do that. Right? What else can you all come up with? I seek to gain from the hive mind:D Also, I was thinking about advertising it on merlintv and camelotfleet, but then I have this dilemma about hosting a conversation in two places (LJ or DW.)

celandineb , and twilighthdfan , thanks to all the lovely hearts that I woke up to this morning! I love that LJ has enabled people to give unlimited sparkly hearts. It's like waking up to snow, the day is all bright and sparkly (in reality, it's kind of gloomy here, a little overcast and no snow, so all I see is brown).
In news of the weird shenanigans in the house, the other day, we discovered a window open in the basement. We think that possibly the earthquake last fall and then all the wind did something that made the window open. We don't think someone came in. Last night we apparently left a light on in the back room and that's very strange because I usually notice pretty small amounts of light. I suppose it's possible it escaped my attention, but the girls claim they didn't get up in the middle of the night, so it seems the most likely answer.
I'm off to write fic! Hopefully I can get Merlin and Morgana straightened out and post that later today.
Also, massive happy birthday wishes for ella_bane ! Hope it's a great day and a wonderful year. You rock:D I am sorry I don't have a little merlin fic for you today. Maybe I can massage the muse later to come up with something. If you'd like to give me a prompt, I won't ignore it this time:D
