Various and sundry

Snowflake challenge for today (day 4) is to go friend someone new you admire.  *cough* I've done too much of that already and would hate to feel like I couldn't keep up with my flist without spending all day in front of the computer, so I'm skipping out on that.  But, you can feel free to go do so:)

Introduce yourself to someone you admire and friend/follow them on whatever platform you use - journal or Twitter or Tumblr or whatever. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of "I did it!"

I am feeling very lucky to have lots of down time this week as I need it severely to recover from the previous week.

I know I need to post this on my profile, but I want to say that if anyone wants to jump off anything I've done, please feel free to do so.  Art, remix, podfic, etc.  I'd love to know what you do with it.  It's all the same sandbox and I'm happy to share my sand:)

Sauce recommendation: butter, garlic, and mustard (and a little salt).  Whoever dreamed this up was a genius.  It's so good.  It's good on broccoli, cauliflower, pasta, fingers;)

I "finished" the Gwaine fic and have spawned two plot bunnies (at least) from it (are you happy now, princealia ?  Look what you've done to me!).  So, I have those to look forward to and I'm in a nine patch quilt block exchange.  I think I have to make 108 blocks.  Egads.  Thank god for strip piecing.  And I have my dragon crop circle to get started on.  Plenty of good stuff to keep me busy.

Also, I have now watched Benedict Cumberbatch's fingers Sherlock.  If anyone wants to explain to me everything I missed chat with me about any of the eps, I would love that.  I think it's an ok show, but it doesn't hit my narrative kinks (no destiny, very little about identity, the stuff about relationships is cute).

ETA: anyone want to rec me some Merlin podfic?:)
