Today, in the US, it's Thanksgiving. Call it what you want, I won't be offended. But I do like the tradition of reflecting on what I'm thankful for.
I'm always thankful for friends, family, health, community, and resources. This year I'm particularly thankful for Merlin fandom. I'm thankful for the friends I've collected here, on LJ and DW, and for the social networks that have connected us.
I'm thankful for the privilege of being able to whine about first world woes. I'm very thankful the economic woes have not hit our household and life has continued as normal.
Today I'm thankful for being able to stay home with my husband and girls. I'm thankful that we've created our own tradition that really works for us. We love staying home, making pizza, and watching a movie. This is our fourth year doing this. Today's movie is Prince of Egypt which we've never seen before. I'm also enormously thankful for better living through chemistry;)
To all of you reading this, I'm thankful for you and what you've added to my life. I love laughing, talking, thinking, crying, and connecting with you.
