Man I've been busy

It is not even 6:30 and I'd just like to go to bed now please.  Been a busy week.  Today dh and I traded haircuts, as we are wont to do every so often, and I've ended up looking like an Abyssinian Guinea Pig.  Google it. (ETA: This new cowlick is not dh's fault....)   I'll wait.  Ok, now that you are laughing your head off...  I had to clean up the hair and do laundry and then I ran to the sewing store to buy buckets of thread for my new serger which will use buckets of thread and picked up kids from Sunday school.  Came home and fed them and spent a little time online.  We then went to the family dance where the kids refused to dance and DD1 complained pretty much the whole time that the Carousel was not open (we forgot it closed at the end of Sept.  Oops).  So, that was a big fail.  Came home early and faffed around until hunger and whining drove me in to the kitchen.

I need to transfer wet clothes into the drier and then put children to bed.  I'm hoping to get to bed early.  I might try to set up the serger tonight.  Maybe.  Then I can do some playing tomorrow, although I anticipate no time to sew tomorrow.  Plus my parents are coming and my sewing room will be somewhat occupied.

Hopefully I can managed some down time tomorrow.  Don't know what I'm going to do with my parents on Tuesday when they will be here all day and the kids will be in school.  My temptation is to send them downtown and I can stay home alone since I haven't done that since last Wed!
