Helpless

One of my friends is going through a really tough time right now, and I feel so helpless to do anything except be there and be a sounding board. Short of flying out and being able to do anything physically, deliver a meal, help with boxing and clean up, etc. what use am I?

I wish I could do more.
I wish I could be more.

This is not a process anyone should have to go through alone. Nothing really prepares you for the death of a parent.
