More substantial update

So, while I wait until the experiment we are doing is done spinning in the centrifuge, I have a bit of a break. Keeping a close watch on the Democratic primaries results, catching my break, trying to not let my stomach growl too loudly. All I've had to eat today was a cinnamon roll (yes, I've been bad), a bowl of french onion soup for lunch (in an attempt to make up for the breakfast badness), a slice of canteloupe, some grapes, and a granola bar. I have leftovers from last night's dinner at home, I'm hoping I'll get to go soon so I can eat them: delicious chicken and spinach mannicotti from Oakland Trattoria, a nice little Italian restaurant close to UWM. Collins and I went there for dinner last night to celebrate that I'm done with the GRE, and did well. It's awesome that they give you your scores right away :-) The writing part hasn't been scored yet, but that's fine, what the Clinical Lab Science department cares about the most for admission purposes is the numerical part of the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections.

I applied to the MD/PhD program at UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health (UW) and Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), right here in Milwaukee... and the centrifuge is done spinning. More later :-)
