Fat Stormtroopers
With Dragon*Con just around the corner it is important to point out appropriate costume attire.
Dragon*Con, for those that have never attended, is a large Science Fiction/Fantasy convention which I am speaking at this year. One of the traditions, which I do not participate in, is wearing a costume. Many of the costumes are great, some are a little skimpy but they all are associated with sci-fi/fantasy some how. Some of the most plentiful costumes are based on the Star Wars universe and are jedis and stormtroopers. This brings us to the topic at hand.
If you are fat do NOT dress as a stormtrooper. There are plenty of other Star Wars costume options for you. In fact a costume I have never seen at my 4 Dragon*Cons, that is perfect for fat guys, is a Gamorrean guard. Yeah it might be a hard costume but your would be original and how easy is it to find stormtrooper armor to cover your stomach?
I wonder if I can find a Gamorrean guard costume in the next few days?
