Just Another Poem

Your shirt
I wore it
Today
Not the first time
Likely not the last

Cornflower blue
With fasteners
Pearly white
Complimentary
To your winter

When sleeves
Pass my vision
Or button snaps
Tickle my ears
I'm reminded

Devilish grin
Twinkling eyes
Seductive ink
Alluring musk
Of you

Of us
On the roof
In the chill
After sunset
Under starlight

So brief
Intense
A flashbulb
Leaving me
Dazed

Now
As we pass
Recognition
Is nil
Though we know

Your name
A greeting
Swallowed
Before reaching
My lips

Becoming instead
Longing
Regret
Disappointment
Annoyance

Yet I think
You can have it
Just ask
After all it's
Your shirt
