Randomness
The weekend was good, need to get away from the house and all of the things that I *should* be doing, or at least what my brain says I should be doing. Being able to actually relax and spend some time with alyska instead of just around her was really nice. Met some cool people, didn't spend too much money in the dealer room. Met the artist for Alpha Shade and bought a signed copy of the first volume.
Skipping around thought processes, I like places that have order fulfillment warehouses in northern Illinois. Cheapest shipping options = next day delivery. Latest case in point is the remote I ordered yesterday from Tiger Direct for $40 (sold out now). It is to be delivered today. woo!
Last night was rather non-productive. alyska went to a wire-wrapping class and I just sat at home and read the complete backlog of Questionable Content, really thats it. all evening. Monday night wasn't much better, it was spent watching my netflixed anime. (Queue currently down about 150)
Tonight should be slightly more productive, helping with the installation of a new countertop, vessel sink, and faucet in a bathroom. Granted it isn't in my bathroom. So after work I need to put together a tool bag to take with to help with the counter anchoring, and hole drilling. If there is time I will also be programming and playing with the new remote, whee!
I still need to get more thin-set before finishing up the wall tile in the tub surround at home, I also need to setup the wet-saw and try to cut out some rounded pieces. After that is done then it is time to tackle the floor and install the new toilet that is sitting in the living room.
