Lookie that, another week gone and time for a "here is what I did for the last week and weekend" post.
Most of the evenings last week were working on the web work, which was switched over live on Thursday and invoice for work through that point was submitted. I then went down and wired the new basement lights into the switch, but was having problems running the new wire for the vanity switch so I still need to do that. Friday I stopped by Harbor Freight over lunch time and got an electric hoist for about half off, which is good as I only plan to use about half of it. Motor and control will be adapted into a powerplant for the bead roller at some point. After dinner I worked in the studio for a bit and made the shopping list for Saturday.
Saturday started with dropping off the market booth, then home to get ready for the lists. Trip to menards to recycle a bunch of fluorescent tubes, and buy a bunch of new ones for the studio and the new lights in the basement. I also picked up the need ceiling rails to keep working. Got home and based on the forecast I switched up the schedule and vacuumed the house,
pet the cat, and then cleared the driveway by the garage. I moved all the big stuff forward to the area behind the grill then swept the space along the fence and then power-washed the area (after patching the hose). I then three of the motorcycles out into the newly cleaned area so I could work on the zx6. I had it running for a little bit but it needs more carb work than I feel like at the moment. But it is all cleaned up and back together and listed on craigslist. If it doesn't go I might take it in and have the carbs re-done and then try selling it next spring or something, for more than I am asking now. After that was together I did some more re-arranging in the garage and inventoried my steel stash and re-arranged the hanging rack. After putting the bikes back in, it was inside for dinner and relaxing.
Sunday was off to the studio as it was supposed to rain most of the day. I got the rest of the ceiling grid up above the front ramp area, and the lights installed. Now I need to work on clearing the rest of the stuff out of the way to make the space usable. Went home and had some lunch and realized that the rain was not going to be happening so I set to work on the sentra. I had gotten in a new set of factory matched paint so I cleaned up the patch I did earlier and a few other rust spots, primed, painted and clear coated them before some rain did show up. It looks much better now. After dinner I did some more steel inventory on the pieces that weren't hanging in the ceiling rack.
I didn't get the trailer load of stuff to the city drop off but they are open late on Tuesday so I might try for after work then. I'll try to add to it and organize it tonight.
