me - They actually came by door-to-door on Saturday to tell me that VBS was coming up, ask if I had any kids the right age.

Yesterday's work was a giant drag, but the suck is somewhat abated. I always feel better after a good night's sleep, too.

sigivald, on reading a web page that mentioned oat extract: When we was kids, we didn't have no "oatmeal". Just grits with a little oat extract. "Poor man's oatmeal", we called it.

In 2004, or possibly late 2003, there was a tv series on CBS called "Century City", about a law firm in the 2030s. The idea was that there were all these legal grey areas in the cyberpunk near future, and every episode would have a new moral ambiguity. It was swiftly canceled.
