The longest phone conversation.. ever
Well, maybe not ever. Kim and I talked on the phone last night for 3 and a half hours. I think that was the longest single time I've talked to anyone on the phone. But it was fun to hear her voice again. I called her around 9:30, and we chatted about everything under the sun. Wished each other happy new years at midnight, since both of our parents had gone to bed already. I can't wait to see her again... 6 days.
My new years eve was fairly uneventful otherwise. Stayed home with my parents. My dad made fantastic chili, and we watched Field of Dreams. I drank champagne straight from the bottle, which is really a more efficient way of doing it. Never heard from my friend Lindsey, so don't know if she is still around AZ or not.
These last few days my parents and I are going to go out and see more stuff in Arizona. Cultural things, museums, fun restaurants, etc. Since it's our last time being together in AZ, we should definitely make the most of these few days. For those interested, I arrive back in Ames Friday around 11:30pm.
