(no subject)
Wow, a lot has been happening lately and I have been too busy to post. Class is still good, my average is pretty high at this point, and there is only the final exam and research project yet to be graded. The final shouldn't be too bad though, but it isn't open notes or anything. I am expecting to do well on the research project, so with any luck I can pull off an A for the class.
We got a new floor in much of the house now. The front hall, the kitchen, and den are now all laminate. The whole process has been harder than when we first moved in. Since the cats couldn't get in the way, we had to lock them in my room all yesterday through this evening. So of course, Walter sneezed on my head all night, and Piper played with my legs through the bedspread and threw up all over my room. Tonight should be better, since the cats are out of my room.
When the floor people moved the refrigerator, they found rotting wood and mold everywhere. But the leak wasn't coming from the refrigerator, at least not the main leak. We had to call a plumber and they think the leak is coming from my shower handles. So tomorrow morning the plumbers are going to cut a hole in the wall and replace the handles. Also, since they had to come out anyway they are going to install a new toilet in my bathroom. Even though the main leak wasn't coming from the refrigerator, there does seem to be a small leak there as well. When we woke up this morning, there was a small puddle under the refrigerator. So just to be safe we turned the water line to the refrigerator off and will leave it off for the time being. Which means tomorrow we have to go get some ice trays since we won't have the built in ice maker in the refrigerator.
