Normally I wouldn’t do something like this, but a bit of a financial emergency has arisen - in that I am recently graduated and therefore flat broke, have been trying (and failing) to get a full-time job for at least three months in a market where no one is hiring, and am down to the very last of my savings.

Sort of.  It seems that this missing-a-day thing is becoming a regular occurrence, unfortunately.  Though I'm trying to do better with it, something always comes up.  (Like yesterday; I worked for about twelve hours.)  I did manage to make it to 2,000 words, however, though it was really close again.  Big mental block today, for some reason.
