BSG 4.1something (17?)
OMG, BSG is eating my brain. Also I just had a big panic based on a spoilery pic over at scifi and had to go watch the wrap video again to check some spoilery stuff that I had mostly erased from my mind.
I enjoyed the ep. Didn't love it, but liked it. I liked the slowness, the beauty of the music and the direction (esp. the opening montage, amazing, gave me flashbacks to KLG, my fave montage ever), Katee being absolutely amazing, Grace making me forget that Boomer and Athena are actually the same person, Chief breaking my heart, the beautiful projection with the cute kid, them using the same girl from Maelstrom (continuity kink!), Papa Thrace being adorable (and a head!person, surely), Boomer getting revenge, 90% less Adama emo...
Didn't like: Kara being so isolated (HELLO WHAT ABOUT LEE?! FFS guys, I can deal with my ship sinking but you don't need to kill the friendship), not actually getting any answers, Ellen stating the frakking obvious ('Hera's plugged in to something that's manipulating us all' WELL DUH HOW THE FRAK ELSE DID YOU ALL END UP HERE?!), final 5 being redundant, random new Six that should have been Caprica (I'm wiping the pregnancy from my mind).
Even though there was stuff I didn't like, I've been thinking about it all day. I like that feeling. Idk, they should have been doing more lovely character eps like this all the way through s4, and then had all the characters a bit more stable for the end block. I like introspective Kara but I also want her to be kickass again.

Ummmm....Laura's dead? Or someone is, and it's someone Lee would cry for, which leaves...who? I just got really scared it was Kara, but the wrap vid suggests to me she's got quite a bit left to do. Unless that all comes next episode, which would be a lot to fit in, right? Although Laura has all that fountain jumping to do, is that going to be her actually dying next week? Or will she come back? Or is it someone else dying (the only person I can think of is Romo, LOL)?
If it's Laura I don't know if I will be that upset. Or will I?
