Work was fairly productive. Tomorrow should be fine. I'm going to clean the fridge/freezer in the breakroom. I put up notice that everyone has to get rid of their stuff or label it. Everything else I'm throwing in the trash. It'll be great, lol ( Read more... )

I think that ring is gorgeous. I totally understand wanting to make it something else though. I think you should take it to a jeweler and get some ideas of what can be done. You should get to wear your diamonds every day!

You could always have it made into a statement ring for your right hand. I think I'm giving my old engagement ring to my Mom. I think the original price was over $1300, but we got it for under $800 because it was before Valentine's day and I think it was a last one/display model (I wear a size 7, which is all their display sizes).

Maybe add a couple of your birth stones? Then it could go diamond birth stone diamond birth stone diamond.

I adore it. It's so sweet. I'd like a bit of an upgrade next time but it was so lovely for the moment.

He of course said I can do whatever I would like to with it. He says if I wear the diamonds, that would make him happy. And if I don't, he's fine with that as well. He's just sweet as hell. I love him. He really is a good guy. I am so very lucky to have him still. I hope I get to see him in December when we go to Disneyland. It'll be weird to see him after a year and a half (and he lost 100 pounds). But I'm still gunna basically fling myself into his arms and hug him for like forever.
