You know what, the economy is where it is because there were no checks and balances already. People were pissed and wanted to flush everyone out. Unfortunately, we went a bit too far in the other direction. We need checks and balances right now. Or mainly balances 'cause we shouldn't be writing any checks. *snerk*

My solace is that Obama doesn't seem like a war-loving frat-boy and is totally Gay Friendly, too bad his VP isn't -- can we kick Biden out and have McCain as VP? THAT'D be AWESOME. (you know, if we couldn't have Hillary)

Yeah, I think Obama has actually moved slightly more to the center, which is encouraging in the fact that the scales won't go flying out of control when the shift comes in January. I'm still a bitter Hillary supporter though. She better get a good position in his regime, because I'm sure that's the only reason she backed him as fervently as she did lol

They're both middle of the road guys. There's sooo much potential right now that I'm absolutely terrified. I'm a fucking American, I shouldn't be terrified of my government -- but thanks to Bush'n'Cheney I'm totally scared to even think about the possibility of everyone working together and rising up.

Obama, McCain and Clinton all working together -- I wish it could happen -- you know how awesome we'd be with them working together to better our country/future?

Oh I know, it would be incredible if this was finally what seals the party divides. Unfortunately I think this might just end up polarizing the country even more. Quite a few McCain supporters aren't just McCain fans, they hate Obama. For whatever reason, they are scared to death of a Obama regime. And that might end up sticking.

Frankly I'm just glad the whole thing is over, I was getting so sick and tired of it all. lol

I cannot wait until 2009.

I think that is everyone's opinion across the board -- everyone is just relieved that it is all over and exhausted from the entire process.

I'm sick of feeling the hate every time I saw a 'yes on prop 8' sign. California might end up letting me down, but at least we've got Obama in there to bring about some long needed equal rights. -- which is probably why people hate Obama.

All you have to do is look at the deep southern bible belt to see why people hate Obama, hate gay people, hate anyone that is not a white male. It's sickening.

They're imbred, therefore their IQ's are non-existent?

Ok, that was wrong and stereotypical. I hate when people do that, so I shouldn't have. But most stereotypes are based in truths. (ie, women's basketball teams really are 80% lesbionic) *nods* ;)

ok, I don't feel well so im going to bed. fresh dreams I wish us all luck.
