life keeps on tickin
So I talked to my friend whom I haven't spoken to in like a year and a half... I went to Ohio and when I came back we just kinda lost touch and come to find out she lost her phone and since she wasn't very internetically inclined, had no way of getting in touch. Anyhow the point is, in the time that we haven't spoken, she has gotten married and separated. What?! Of course it was a guy she was dating off and on for a few years but still I'm like wow that's a lot to miss. And why is everyone getting married? And then later separated or divorced? Maybe if we didn't assume that the next step was obviously marriage, we could see that there shouldn't be a next step at all and we should move on to the next canidate. I dunno but there's definitely no potential life partner in my world. I'll just be the lonely old spinster school teacher. *shrug*
Financial Aid finally came through and hopefully I will snag a car when I'm home next week. I pray it's not a piece of poop. I'd really like to get something newer and make payments but my credit sucks and my uncle probably won't trust me to make the payments lol. I'm not talking anything too ritzy but right now I can only afford some old school mess and with the way I drive across the globe I need something more reliable. Oh well as long as I get something, right? We'll see how that goes.
School sucks.. The semester's almost over and I still have so much to do in the way of projects, papers, and lessons. And I have free time right now I could be using to my advantage but no I'm going to go get some lunch and watch TV like the productive lady I am. Go team!
