Fun times ahead
Well I need to be in bed right now seeing as I have to be up at 6:30 so I can spend my day observing at the high school. Pretty soon I'll actually attempt to teach and that should be an interesting endeavor. It should go pretty well hopefully.. considering that's what I've wanted to do my whole life. If I suck at it then I pretty much just suck. :)
But on to bigger and better things.. I can't wait till Oct 20! That's the new CP excursion date in which Emma, Leslie, Carly, Alex and I will be visiting the good ole park as good ole guests. My roomies really want to come too but dern school kinda gets in the way of that. Lucky for me I have no Mon or Fri classes. So I wish that would hurry and get here. By then it'll be two months since I've seen my Alex and my Jay which is just craaazay. It feels like longer though... Wow. A month(ish) ago I was workin at CP. Feels like ages.
And today I made fabulous plans for my sis's 19th bday. She never really gets to go anywhere or do anything exciting sooo we are going to go up to see Alex together in D.C. and we're going to a Panic! at the Disco concert. Yes, concert because they have unfortunately surpassed the "show" status of smaller venues. But it'll be fun all the same. I've only been to DC twice- once when I was 9 and once two years ago. School trips of course so this will be a nice change. Can't get too crazy though, my dad might never entrust my sister to me ever again.
Next weekend is Anberlin & akissforjersey in Greensboro. Yeeehaw. Then shortly thereafter we have Jack's Mannequin and Copeland in Greensboro. F-U-N. I've never seen Jack's live so I'm pretty pumped about that one. And I'm also pumped about AKFJ with Anberlin because wow what a break for them. Good publicity I say. And they just rock anyhow. If I'm lucky my little Leslie will be able to sneak away for that one but she may be preoccupied :( Carly's coming.. tentatively. And Korri may.. afterall, Deon IS her man. I mentioned it to Emma but I don't think she's too keen on the idea. :P
And that's that. Just some things I'm looking forward to. By the way, the new Snow Patrol is quite snazzy. Other than Chasing Cars, I absolutely love love love "Make This Go On Forever"- beautiful! Trust me. :)
