(no subject)
I played Guitar Hero 2 for the first time yesterday. I now understand what all the fuss is about.
I thought that, maybe...maybe...the fact that I actually play guitar might help me. I was pretty much wrong. It did help in one aspect I suppose: I was able to play the fast riffs with the 'hammer ons' pretty easily whereas my non-guitar playing friend was totally perplexed by them. Other than that it did not help at all. :)
I am sorry to report that I was roundly booed off stage at Stonehenge playing Free Bird. I did last until the guitar solo...but that solo...man. There's just no way. Talk about trial by fire...
The only question now is whether I buy a PS2 or buy an Xbox 360 and wait till March for the 360 version to come out.
