Day 30: Your favorite song at this time last year
Well... I'm the kind of guy that doesn't change much. So really, I could just bring this little meme full circle and give you guys another dose of Higher, because, well, my favorite song is my favorite song is my favorite song. Seriously. I have loved it since I started listening to music, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
But let's approach this from a different angle: what was Kevin listening to a year ago? The answer is this:
Where was I in the beginning August 2009? I was working a moderately interesting temp job. I was starting to get interview offers from med school. I was living in Winnetka with two excellent guys and one terrible human being. I was looking forward to getting all of my friends back in a couple weeks. There were some areas that were less than wonderful, but I had reason to be happy. And when I was happy in August 2009... well, I was singing along to this at the top of my lungs. Good times. =)

Wow. I managed to post for thirty consecutive days. That's impressive, I guess. I'm actually kind of glad I had to post so much, as it forced me to write about things, which, though resulting in a lot of fluff posts, also forced me to reflect and such, which was the point of starting this journal in the first place. So yeah. Good call, orelle_peredhil . Thanks for letting me steal this. =P In any case, we now return to your regularly scheduled, less-frequent but more-significant posting.
