I am about to kill someone...

So we all have character crushes, right? But which character would you truly want to be in a long-term, committed relationship with? Not just the guy who’s hot (although it doesn’t hurt), but the guy who’s there when you call and who calls you in return.

List the top five fictional characters (in no particular order) that you wish you could date in real life. Include a picture and an explanation for each one.

1.) Mohinder Suresh- Heroes. I've loved Mohinder from day 1, and I've continued to love him even when his moral compass was a bit off. He's passionate, brilliant (I think he's one of the most intelligent characters on tv right now), totally selfless (every decision he makes is with the bigger picture in mind), and he always does what he thinks is right for everyone. As a boyfriend I think he'd be completely devoted (he's an all-or-nothing guy), and he's romantic in his own way (he's such a gentleman, like when he went in to just kiss Eden on the cheek and she made the move to actually kiss him...and his line to that girl in India about his science babble being "the world's worst pillow talk," was really cute). And plus, he's now a package deal, so I'd also get Matt and Molly. Matt would be an awesome friend to live with, and Molly is just adorable and needs a woman in her life. I'll stop gushing about him now. XD

2.) George Weasley- Harry Potter. As much as I loved Fred, I didn't pick him due to canon reasons (i.e. me not wanting to be a widow, lol). George is a hell of a catch. He has a huge family, a successful business, an apartment in Diagon Alley, not to mention he's hilarious and adorable. And based on the book-canon that I've noticed, George was the more even-tempered of the twins, the one most likely to sit and talk to you (Fred never stopped moving, did he?). I feel like he was the heart of the twins, and more likely to settle down, while I could see Fred being a swinging bachelor. Plus, George needs someone to help him through the loss of his brother, and I'd be totally cool with moving in and helping with the joke shop. And plus, the Weasleys are the coolest family ever, I'd have the best brothers-in-law in the world!

3.) Jack Shepard- Lost. I like Jack for a lot of the reasons that I like Mohinder- intelligence (he's a spinal surgeon), selflessness (he's kind of obsessed with saving everyone, and does literally everything he can for them all), etc. A lot of people just see him as Mr. Righteous and find that annoying, but he didn't ask to be "the leader" of the castaways, they just all turned to him because he was best suited for it. Listen to his "live together or die alone" speech in the season 1 finale, and you'll see why I love his righteousness. And besides that, every woman he's ever loved has chosen someone else instead of him (he risked everything for Kate and she kissed him once, then freaked out about it and ended up sleeping with Sawyer and breaking Jack's heart. He needs someone to be as loyal to him as he is to everyone.

4.) John Dorian- Scrubs. No one is surprised by this one, lol. He's the third doctor on my list so far, but he's the first one that I fell for. I love funny guys, and he's just so silly all the time! I know he's a notorious relationship-ruiner, but I think that's mostly because he hasn't found someone that compliments his quirkiness well enough, or someone that won't ask him to grow up. Things would never be boring with JD, and I'd get to hang out with Turk and Carla, and I love babies so I'm ok with baby Sammy being around. I could kick Kim's ass if I had to. :P

5.) Bret- Flight of the Conchords. Of the two Conchords, Bret is the quiet, shy one. He's such a cutie, I kinda love how socially awkward he is. He and Jemaine get into so many ridiculous antics, it would just be a blast to hang out with them. Jemaine's a bit too girl-crazy for me, and Bret is the naive one that gets used by girls all the time. He's always surprised when a girl actually likes him. But he and Jemaine are a package deal, since they live together, and Jemaine follows Bret and his dates and interjects with "Kiss her, Bret, just kiss her already!" And really, I'm ok with that. (instead of pictures, Bret gets videos so that you get just how adorable he is.)

And I know what you're all (probably) thinking. Why isn't Obi-Wan, the love of my life, on this list? Well, because I was going by canon, and the only person he loved was Qui-Gon, except for maybe Anakin when he's in the mood Jedi are forbidden to love, kthx. XD

Ok, that took way too long, but I needed a break from studying and searching for pictures of such nice looking men was worth a bit of extra time. :P I'm off to defrost the fridge now, and then to finally get back to work on that pesky take-home exam. Blech.

P.S. I'll try to update real quick-like before I unhook the computer to go home tomorrow. But I have high-speed internets at home now anyway, so I won't be gone forever like I used to over winter break, hee.

P.P.S. I know I promised Men In Suits picspam forever ago, and I swear it's on the way! I've just been so busy lately, as you know. But it'll give me a reason to post over break and such. Same thing goes for those Heroes icons I promised a while back. I have not forgotten! XD
