Picture post!
So, time for a picture post!
So I am at the University of Alabama for a summer program and right next to my dorm is a pond with 14 resident ducks. The regular ducks are nothing special but there is one couple who I refer to as "my ducks." They are such a cute couple, the other 12 are ALWAYS together and these two are always way away from the rest but always by each others' side. It was funny this morning, the mallard was actually play chasing the other one when I came outside!
The other ducks are kinda scary when they think you may have food. I thought I was going to have to sneek up on them to get a pic but they all came waddling towards me and then chased me until I left their territory!
I don't really know why but watching construction projects really interests me. Although it is annoying being woken up at 5 or 6 some mornings, I like having a great view and watching the progress being made on what will become a new road and a three story parking deck plus five story dorm combination.

I am planning on buying my Macbook next week and cannot wait...I was gonna get a wireless mouse with it even though I am ok with and have always used a touchpad, but I figured hey, If I am gonna spend $1200 on a laptop might as well spring for a wireless mouse eh? On Apple's site, it was going to be $70 and add $3 to my shipping. I figured I would look around at the University bookstore and surprisingly it was ten dollars cheaper, and I don't have to pay for tax.
I really like it because it is the Logitech VX Nano and the reciever for it is so small that I never have to take it out of my laptop! Well, let me just let you see for yourself:
