Yay for payday!
So I got my first official payroll check today...well, more accurately Josh got it and called me. Nice to be paid over the table for once :p Sucks that the state cut taxes though since I made one check, and technically do not have to pay taxes. And since I am a dependent, and my parents tax liability will already be zero, I won't get it back either! Oh well, only $62 anyway....
Speaking of taxes, does anyone know if I have to get paperwork for that check (like a W-2) sent to my parents, even though I am only getting one check for less than $1000? The payroll person said that she didn't have to file paperwork for me but IDK?
I cannot wait to get my new MacBook. As soon as my brother can pay me the rest of the money (right around a week from Monday) I will be ordering the mid-level Macbook, with Office 2008 (meh) and should receive it by Wednesday or Thursday, latest Friday of next week...if I pay an extra $27 in shipping...but I think I will. I need to get a good wireless mouse for it...I have no prob with a touchpad, but would probably still benefit from a wireless.
I really can't wait....I swear, as soon as I get stuff transferred from this piece of shit laptop I am going to be majorly tempted to throw it out the window....literally...from at least the fourth floor....
Anyway....enough rambling for now...
