Throo the Zoo 2017
Did the annual Throo the Zoo 5K again this year and had a great time even though I didn’t run. A buddy and his family were doing it and they’re not runners so I walked it with them. I hadn’t seen them in a while so it was nice to just stroll and chat and enjoy the scenery with them. The weather was perfect, sunny and in the 50’s and the animals cooperated by coming out. It was really nice to just enjoy the zoo at a nice pace instead of just breezing through it trying to get a good time. I had such a nice time with them I’m thinking of joining them at a Autism 5K they’re doing in a couple of weeks.
