Hosparus Lunar 5K
Did an evening "glow run" organized by Hosparus last evening despite the 92 degree race time temp. It's to support a great cause and this year's theme was superheroes so even one of my superhero crazy buddies that doesn't really run came out. He wore a Flash shirt and I wore a Reverse Flash shirt. The run itself was so-so. I finished in 29:58 which can't be right with as much walking as I did with the heat. The course felt short. At the end of the race there was only warm water out of a "cooler" to drink and few snacks. Very few people were hanging around for the after party but that may have had more to do with the heat. I left to go home and have a cold beer. While the race was mediocre I'll do it again in the future just because it benefits a good cause.
